FRIDAY...

* TIMING...WHILE THERE MAY BE A BRIEF LULL IN THE SNOW AROUND
MIDNIGHT...ANOTHER ROUND OF HEAVIER SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP
IN THE PRE-DAWN HOURS FRIDAY. THEN SNOW WILL DECREASE...FIRST IN
THE LATE MORNING HOURS ON FRIDAY IN THE I-70 CORRIDOR...AND
THEN NORTHWARD TO THE WYOMING BORDER DURING THE AFTERNOON.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...4 TO 10 INCHES IN THE I-70 CORRIDOR,
INCREASING TO 7-12 INCHES FROM ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK
NORTH TO THE WYOMING BORDER. AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF 1 FOOT CAN BE
EXPECTED NORTH OF RABBIT EARS PASS.

* WIND/VISIBILITY...WEST/SOUTHWEST WINDS INCREASING TO 25 TO 35
NEAR AND ABOVE TIMBERLINE...WITH GUSTS TO 60 MPH OR MORE OVER
THE HIGH PASSES. VISIBILITY WILL BE REDUCED TO JUST A COUPLE
HUNDRED FEET AT TIMES OVER THE HIGHER PASSES...AND BELOW ONE
HALF MILE AT TIMES IN LOWER ELEVATIONS.

* IMPACTS...SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL PRODUCE HAZARDOUS AND
SLOW TRAVEL CONDITIONS ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS. THE WORST TRAVEL
CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED FROM LATE THIS EVENING THROUGH
FRIDAY MORNING, THEN SOME IMPROVEMENT CAN BE EXPECTED
ESPECIALLY ALONG THE I-70 CORRIDOR BY FRIDAY AFTERNOON.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL
CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED
ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
