CENTRAL COLORADO AND NORTHEAST COLORADO. THE WATCH INCLUDES
AREAS FROM THE FRONT RANGE MOUNTAINS AND MOSQUITO RANGE EASTWARD
TO WELD...MORGAN...WASHINGTON AND LINCOLN COUNTIES.

* THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON

* WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE 1 TO 3 INCHES
OF RAIN THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY. SOME THUNDERSTORMS MAY
BE STATIONARY OR REDEVELOP OVER THE SAME PLACES AND PRODUCE
EVEN HIGHER RAINFALL AMOUNTS OVER SMALLER AREAS.

* FLASH FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS...CREEKS AND STREAMS IS LIKELY
TO OCCUR IN SEVERAL LOCATIONS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. ROCK
AND MUD SLIDES ARE ALSO LIKELY IN THE FOOTHILLS. IF YOU LIVE IN
FLOOD PRONE AREAS OR WILL BE TRAVELING...STAY ALERT TO THE
LATEST WARNINGS AND BE PREPARED FOR RAPIDLY RISING WATER
LEVELS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
BE PREPARED TO EVACUATE LOW LYING AREAS AND MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND
SHOULD FLOODING DEVELOP OR A WARNING BE ISSUED. BE AWARE OF THE
FLOODING DANGER TODAY...STAY OUT OF FLOODED AREAS AND DO NOT DRIVE
