and east central plains...
The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Red Flag
Warning FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY...which is in effect
from 11 AM to 6 PM MST Tuesday. The Fire Weather Watch is no
longer in effect.
* Affected Area...Fire Weather Zones 238...239...240...241...
242...243...244...245...246...247...248...249...250 and 251.
* Timing...Fire Danger will increase by noon on Tuesday and
continue into early Tuesday Evening.
* Winds...West 15 to 25 mph with gusts of 35 to 45 mph.
* Relative Humidity...as low as 11 percent.
* Impacts...If a fire starts, it will be capable of spreading
rapidly through grasses and brush due to the strong winds.
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and unseasonably warm
temperatures will contribute to extreme fire behavior.
