Tulare County Foothills, Sierra Nevada from Tulare County north

* Through Tuesday morning

* An incoming strong storm system will bring a period of excessive
rainfall to central California. The heaviest rainfall will occur

* The combination of already wet soils and moderate to heavy
rain could lead to excessive runoff. Flooding of small
streams, low water crossings and poor drainage areas will be
possible. Mud and rock slides in areas of higher terrain are
also possible.

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
