THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR

* LOS ANGELES AND VENTURA COUNTIES IN SOUTHWEST CALIFORNIA.

* THROUGH 6 PM MONDAY.

* PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN WITH PEAK RAINFALL RATES OF 0.50 TO 1.00
INCHES PER HOUR ARE POSSIBLE. THIS COULD GENERATE FLASH
FLOODING AND OR MUD AND DEBRIS FLOWS...ESPECIALLY IN AND
AROUND RECENT BURN AREAS.

* LANDSLIDES AND ROCKSLIDES ARE VERY COMMON DURING INTENSE RAIN
EVENTS AND COULD LEAD TO ROAD CLOSURES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

FLASH FLOODING AND DEBRIS FLOWS WILL BE A PARTICULAR THREAT IN
AND BELOW THE RECENTLY BURNED AREAS.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

PEOPLE IN OR BELOW THE RECENTLY BURNED AREAS ARE URGED TO TAKE
