TO ONE AND A HALF INCHES PER HOUR RAIN RATES. THE HEAVIEST CELL IS
CURRENTLY OVER FAR NORTHEAST VENTURA COUNTY...ABOUT 10 MILES EAST OF

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS NORTHWEST
LOS ANGELES COUNTY AND NORTHEAST VENTURA COUNTY. FLASH FLOODING WILL
CONTINUE TO IMPACT THE WARNING AREA THROUGH 545 PM...INCLUDING
INTERSTATE 5 AND HIGHWAY 138. THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL BETWEEN 240 AND
340 PM HAS OCCURRED ALONG INTERSTATE 5 NEAR PYRAMID LAKE AND CASTAIC
LAKE...WHERE DOPPLER RADAR HAS ESTIMATED OVER 2 INCHES PER HOUR.

WITH SOME STORMS.

* IMPACTS...HEAVY RAIN COULD LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING...MUD AND
DEBRIS FLOWS...AND ROCKSLIDES. ROADS COULD BE CLOSED DUE TO
WATER FLOWING OVER THEM AS WELL AS MUD AND ROCKS WASHING ONTO
THEM.
