Marin County in northern California...
Central Contra Costa County in northern California...

* Until 815 PM PST

* At 342 PM PST, a trained weather spotter reported heavy rain
causing minor roadway flooding over northern Healdsburg. Highway
Patrol reports roadway flooding on Highway 17 near Los Gatos and
West San Jose. Additional roadway flooding is very likely in the
typical poor drainage areas into this evening. Evening commuters
please use extra caution on the roadways as hazards like water
ponding and localized flooding where water typically collects are
quite likely.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland, Fremont, Santa Rosa, Hayward,
Sunnyvale, Concord, Santa Clara, Berkeley, Richmond, Daly City, San
Mateo, San Leandro, Livermore, Napa, Redwood City, Mountain View,
Alameda and San Ramon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Runoff from heavy rainfall will cause rises on small creeks and
streams, localized flooding in urban areas, highways, streets and
underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

Move away from recently burned areas. Heavy rains may trigger
rockslides, mudslides and debris flows in steep terrain, especially
in and around these areas.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are or will become
elevated, or ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring
or is imminent.
