...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT SUNDAY...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of CENTRAL ARKANSAS, NORTH CENTRAL ARKANSAS,
SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS, SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS, and WESTERN ARKANSAS,
including the following areas, in CENTRAL ARKANSAS, Conway,
Faulkner, Garland, Grant, Lonoke, Perry, Pulaski, Saline,
White, and Yell. In NORTH CENTRAL ARKANSAS, Cleburne,
Independence, Stone, and Van Buren. In SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS,
Bradley, Cleveland, and Jefferson. In SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS,
Calhoun, Clark, Dallas, Hot Spring, Ouachita, and Pike. In
WESTERN ARKANSAS, Montgomery, Polk, and Scott.

* Until 7 AM CDT Sunday

* Additional rainfall of an inch is possible, with localized
amounts over two inches. While the threat of heavy rainfall is
becoming less widespread, it will not take much to cause runoff
issues in areas that have received as much as four to six inches
in the last 24-36 hours. Therefore, the watch will continue
through early Sunday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
