AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ALONG A LINE
EXTENDING FROM 2 MILES WEST OF CRATER OF DIAMONDS STATE PARK TO 5
MILES WEST OF CAMDEN TO 4 MILES SOUTH OF CRANE LAKE. DOPPLER RADAR
INDICATES OVER 5 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN OVER PARTS OF THE
WARNED AREA IN THE PAST 6 HOURS WITH ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN
EXPECTED. FLASH FLOODING IS LIKELY TO OCCUR. WHILE PRECIPITATION
MAY TAPER OFF IN SOME AREAS DURING THE WARNING PERIOD...IT WILL
TAKE SOME TIME FOR ANY HIGH WATER TO RUNOFF.

The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a

* Flood Warning for
The Little Missouri River Near Boughton.
* from this evening to late Monday night...or until the warning is
cancelled.
* The river gauge is out of service.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Forecast...There has been as much as 6 to 9 inches rain of over the river basin
in the past 24 hours and the river is expected to rise above flood stage
this evening and continue to rise to near 21.5 feet by Sunday morning. The
river gauge is out of service and residents along the river should monitor for
rapid rises.
* Impacts at 20.0 feet...Pastures along the river begins to flood.
Water backing up half moon slough and boggy creek in Southwest Clark county.
* Impacts at 22.0 feet...Lower lying county roads in Northern Nevada county may
be affected. Water approaching State Highway 53 near Whelen Springs. Deer
camps may be cut off by high water.
