...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS REMAIN POSSIBLE THIS MORNING...
Snow will continue to taper off across the far northeast sections
of the area this morning...with little to no additional
accumulation expected. Dry conditions have persisted for much of
the overnight period further south and west.
However...temperatures remain below freezing across all of the
area this morning. Some areas will still see some hazardous
driving conditions as a result of light snow and black ice from
when the snow melted on Wednesday afternoon/evening. The areas
most prone to seeing slick spots will be bridges and overpasses.
Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling...especially
for this morning's commute. Allow extra time to reach your
destination. Temperatures are expected to climb above freezing
during the mid to late morning hours today.
