...LAKE WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 10 PM CDT FRIDAY...
The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a Lake
Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 10 AM to 10 PM CDT Friday.
* EVENT: Expect breezy southerly winds of 15 to 25 mph...with gusts
of 30 to 35 mph possible.
* AREAS AFFECTED: A large portion of Arkansas
* TIMING: Expect the breezy conditions to develop during the late
morning hours on Friday...persisting through the early evening
hours. Expect the breezy conditions to decrease by late Friday
A Lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
