* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
SOUTHEASTERN DREW COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS...
SOUTHERN DESHA COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS...

* UNTIL 1000 AM CDT

* AT 657 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN
AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ALONG A LINE
EXTENDING FROM 3 MILES WEST OF JERSEY POINT TO 3 MILES WEST OF
DERMOTT. DOPPLER RADAR INDICATES 1 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN
OVER PARTS OF THE WARNED AREA IN THE PAST 2 HOURS WITH ADDITIONAL
HEAVY RAIN EXPECTED. FLASH FLOODING IS LIKELY TO OCCUR. WHILE
PRECIPITATION MAY TAPER OFF IN SOME AREAS DURING THE WARNING
PERIOD...IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME FOR ANY HIGH WATER TO RUNOFF.

The Flood Warning continues for
The Arkansas River At Pendleton.
* from late Thursday night until further notice...Or until the
warning is cancelled.
* At 8:15 PM Tuesday the stage was 29.2 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 31.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Friday morning and continue to
rise to near 32.0 feet by Saturday morning.
* Impacts at 31.0 feet...Residences inside the levee just upstream of
the Pendleton Bridge are affected.
* Impacts at 32.0 feet...Area access roads on right descending bank
upstream and downstream of the bridge are flooded. Property inside the
levee in the Pendeleton area is threatened and should be removed.
