wind gusts greater than or equal to 35 knots, mainly from the south.
Expect thunderstorms with cloud to ground lightning to move across
the Shelby County Airport and its vicinity by 5:00pm.

At 417 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles southeast of Heiberger to near Thorsby
to near Ten Cedar Estates. Movement was north at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Alabaster, Sylacauga, Calera, Clanton, Wetumpka, Montevallo, Brent,
Columbiana, Marion, Centreville, Jemison, Wilsonville, Rockford,
Kellyton, Talladega Springs, Weogufka, Equality, Stewartville,
Thorsby and West Blocton.
