...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON...
The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of Alabama and northwest Florida, including the
following areas, in Alabama, Baldwin Central, Baldwin Coastal,
Baldwin Inland, Conecuh, Covington, Escambia, Mobile Central,
Mobile Coastal, and Mobile Inland. In northwest Florida,
Escambia Coastal, Escambia Inland, Okaloosa Coastal, Okaloosa
Inland, Santa Rosa Coastal, and Santa Rosa Inland.
* Through this afternoon
* An additional 1 to 2 inches with localized higher amounts is
still possible in the watch area. Due to saturated conditions
already in place combined with moderate to heavy rain moving
repeatedly over the same area some localized flash flooding will
still be possible.
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is VERY DANGEROUS.
Monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should
Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
