...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS
EVENING...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* A portion of southwest Alabama, including the following area,
Clarke.

* Until 10 PM CDT this evening

* Flash flooding remains possible as additional bands of heavy
rain from Cindy's remnant circulation moves east northeast
across Kentucky and Tennessee today.

* Additional rainfall totals up to 3 inches are possible,
especially where the more persistent rain bands set up. Five to
ten inches of rain have already fallen across much of the watch
area since late Tuesday. Any additional heavy rainfall will only
further increase the flooding potential across the area. In
addition to the flash flooding, many area rivers are now in or
will soon go into minor to moderate flood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
