THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ANCHORAGE HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WATCH FOR THE YENTNA RIVER AT LAKE CREEK.

* THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON

* EXTREME WARM TEMPERATURES HAVE RAISED WATER LEVELS ON THE YENTNA
RIVER AT LAKE CREEK TO BANKFULL AND WATER LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO
CONTINUE TO RISE AND MAY REACH MINOR FLOOD STAGE OF 20.5 FEET BY
EARLY THURSDAY MORNING AFTER WHICH LEVELS SHOULD FALL AS
TEMPERATURES COOL.

* RESIDENTS AND RECREATIONAL USERS SHOULD BE AWARE THAT LEVELS ARE VERY
HIGH AND TAKE PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY.
